One of my favorite things to do is create something delicious for someone else. I don’t know what it is but I adore spending time combining every drool worth ingredient into a perfect concoction to present to someone I love and staring wide eyed at them waiting for their reaction. Cooking and creating cocktail is an enjoyable and important way I show love to others. In fact, I like to dress cute, display my foods like an episode of Chopped and play bartender with the energy of Robert Downy Junior (on coke days) with ingredients and cocktails shakers flying in the air. I was so amped up jamming out making this cocktail tail I tossed the lemon in the glass from as high as my arms could reach in the air. So dramatic and unnecessary but why not have fun when creating something delicious. Take the time this upcoming holiday season to play bartender for your friends and family. Mix it up, sit down with friends, family or strangers, a couple cocktails and I promise you a whole new world of stories and friendship opens up.
It’s winter time and while I almost always lean towards a mulled wine or any cocktail with Whiskey, I wanted to make something a little more fresh and citrusy. Mostly because I could make it with champagne and call it a brunch cocktail to drink before noon but also to mix it up a bit.
I was lucky to be offered VOVETI Prosecco as the shining ingredient in this citrus holiday Lemon Elderflower and Thyme Prosecco Cocktail. VOVETI is a brut style DOC with tempered acidity and a fresh, graceful profile. Perfect for the cocktail I had in mind. The acidity from the prosecco, citrus and lightness from the lemon and earthy taste from the thyme simple syrup makes for the perfect day time cocktail.
Along with the 750ml bottle, came two mini 187ml bottles cute as can be and perfect for single servings of this Lemon Elderflower and Thyme Prosecco Cocktail!
Try VOVETI yourself as an easy drinking aperitif or cocktail, perfect to share with friends any time.
