Travel Diary: Jamaica

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. PLEASE READ MY DISCLOSURE FOR MORE INFO.

The world in which I travel brings me endless happiness and self discovery. The warm sand, the turquoise waters, sun kissed skin, and a rum shot waiting around every corner. If you’re looking for your next escape, Jamaica is it. You won’t leave with a list of places to go eat, or things to see, or even that many photos(humidity fogs op the lens 98% of the time), but you will leave happy, relaxed, and longing to return. Jamaica is genuinely an escape from all that is the normal life. No phones, iPads, or computers necessary. And that says a lot for a blogger to admit I didn’t need my computer. (It did pain me just a tiny bit=) ) We stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites; a beautiful resort in Montego Bay with a killer beach view, infinity pool, and a chance to meet the sweetest locals. Honestly I don’t know what I liked more, the beach, or how amazing the local Jamaican workers were. Always smiling and friendly and ready to chat; and not in a “I work here I get paid to be nice to you” kinda way but a genuine “One Love, non judgmental” way. That in itself was worth the price of staying there.

With the Jamaican spirit, golden sunshine, clear waters, and daily adventures paired with the one love lifestyle and real world escape I fell in vacation love. I always miss a location after returning home from vacation but I swear I came home feeling like a piece of me was left in Jamaica.

If you’re thinking about heading to Jamaica…GO!! Order yourself some appleton rum, jump off some cliffs, and enjoy the hell out of it.
