When you wake up to rain and go to sleep with storm all you look for is a bit of sunshine and comfort. These are the days that it seems snuggling in comforters with warm drinks is the only way to spend the day. While this may be a cold smoothie, but the spices warm your insides and snuggle you into fall. My Spiced Vegan Vanilla Chai Smoothie is a delicious transition into this Fall season.

Now of course I couldn’t just give you a fall smoothie. It has to come with a kick. The small dash of cayenne pepper in this smoothie adds a warming touch without messing with your taste buds. ::ALL YOU NEED::

2 frozen bananas

1 cup coconut milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

1/8 tsp ground cloves

1 dash cayenne pepper

Blend all ingredients and pour into a glass. Put a dash of cinnamon on top and serve immediately. Enjoy!
