Military Green Street Style

Ahh the green army vest. The ever interchangeable beauty of military accents mixed with a casual look turned street style with heels. I paired this rugged and informal by nature military vest with my DIY high waisted shorts and hi-low black checkered t. Say what you will about the denim cut-offs, typically un-chic and utterly unflattering on any body type, but I for one will slip them into any informal setting possible. Join the fringed denim forever fupa jorts train and embrace it fully. But how to dress up the vest and denim into chic street style? HEELS.

There’s nothing I love more than a street style look with a touch of glam… heels, backless touch, glam jewelry you name it. With the vest bringing down the glam status of a style, heels are the perfect way to bring it back up. It’s the perfect outfit for your summer lunch date.

And on a sidenote…we’ll just ignore my ginormous bruise on my leg. I’ve got scars, bruises, and scrapes like I’m a  rugby world champ. Focus on the chic =)
