Galentine’s Day with Luxe Dermatology and Aesthetic Center

As a work from home entrepreneur, I don’t work the typical 9-5 Monday-Friday schedule. I work the wake to sleep Monday-Sunday schedule. Rarely do I put on makeup, do my hair or get dressed in anything more than yoga clothes. Some weekends (when I actually have plans) I’ll realize I haven’t plucked my eyebrow(s) or shaved my legs in over a week. (Poor Michael) So needless to say getting pampered is not exactly part of my work from home lifestyle.

My Mondays are usually filled with client emails, gathering orders and shop restock requests from the weekend. But this was no such ordinary Monday. This Monday I was so fortunate to be invited to a glam Galentine’s Day event with my fellow local DMV bloggers at Luxe Dermatology and Aesthetic Center located in The Boro at Tysons Corner! The girls and I spent the day enjoying champagne, cookies, facials, custom skincare products, and some much needed girl time. IT. WAS. GLORIOUS.

We got to Luxe Dermatology around 1pm and were immediately greeted with smiling faces and glasses of champagne. The office was stunning. It was clean, bright, and welcoming, decorated with modern yet plush furniture. They displayed their ZO Skin Health products proudly on the first wall you see as you walk in the door, like a promise of a better skin future. And this was just the waiting room! Each individual room could be entered through a beautiful sliding barn door. This was most certainly not the dermatology office I visited growing up with yellow lighting and stacks of old LIFE magazines littered around plastic furniture and sad fake ferns.

My fellow bloggers and I spent time bonding (eating those delicious cookies) and talking about which treatments we were getting until we were guided to our individual rooms. I was led to the ZO product wall I mentioned earlier where Jessica listened attentively while I complained about my skin issues. She walked me through each product, what they do and provided me with an entirely new skincare routine full of ZO Skin Health products. I really appreciated the time she and Natalie took to explain why each of these products was specifically beneficial to me. I’ve just started my new routine yesterday so I’ll update you on how it’s going in a future post. It really felt amazing to be pampered and I’m already looking forward to going back.
