8 Sweet little moments in the kitchen

When you’re growing up and you build a fort from pillows and blankets and add in a makeshift bed and camp light, its a “sacred space”. It’s your escape from the rest of the world, your humble sanctuary, your place. The kitchen…is my fort. It’s where I go to relax, to escape, and to build something for myself. It’s my place to create something I can immediately share with family and friends and embrace the love and sweet gratitude of full bellies. Today I’m sharing the series of 8 sweet little moments I enjoy in my kitchen.

1. The brewing of morning coffee

2. Getting borderline inappropriate with your food; touching it, smelling it, kneading it,

3. The first sip of wine while beginning a new recipe

4. The first oven smell wafting into the atmosphere when it’s done

5. Your hard worked on dish coming out picture perfect

6. Your guests faces after their first bite of your served meal

7. Soapy hands cleansing away stains & left overs at the end of your day

8. Knowing the love you put into your meal and being able to share that love and comfort with others

Where is your special place?
