DIY Gold Antler Ring Holder

A few months back I saw this chic, simple little antler ring holder that I loved. However, when I picked it up to purchase for my newly decorated room… it was around $25.00. Which seemed insane to me. There is no reason to pay that much when “I could make that myself.” It’s times like these that I love making and sharing DIY’s with all of you. So here is my own version of a DIY Gold Antler Ring Holder for you to make and use to decorate your own room!

::MATERIALS NEEDED::

2 blocks of Sculpey Clay, 1 white soap dish or small dish, E6000 Glue or strong adhesive, Gold Spray paint, Clear seal Spray paint

1. If you have two different colors of clay, don’t worry,  just blend them together by twisting them into each other like above.

2. Mold your clay into your desired Antler shape. Then bake according to Sculpey directions. (Mine was 30 minutes at 350 degrees. )

3. Let your antler cool completely then take to a well ventilated area and spray paint it gold.

4. Be sure to spray from all different angles to get between each antler extension.

5. Once the gold paint has dried, spray 1 coat of the clear sealant and let dry. Now you can glue down your antler.

6. Spread glue evenly along bottom of antler and place firmly onto dish. Let dry 24hours at room temperature.
