Beet Juice without juicer

A juicer is one of those machines I’ve just never gotten around to buying. As much as I love juicing I know I should but when it’s 8am and I really want a juice I have to do my crazy blender/strainer process that you’ll see below. BUT it works just as well as juicer if you’re in a pinch. Ok, Let’s talk benefits:

Beets: Beets are the almighty root when it comes to body cleansing and revamping with collagen. Beets are packed with nutrients to help your body produce collagen which will promote hair growth, reduce skin blemishes and prevent wrinkles and cellulite. They also cleanse your liver, detox your system, and reduce inflammation.

Carrots: Carrots are right up there with the beets on giving you healthy skin. They reduce redness, provide skin hydration, create even skin tones, and reduce wrinkles with the production of collagen.

Purple Cabbage: Excellent source of A,B, and C vitamins. Raw cabbage helps to clear your gastro tract and helps to heal ulcers. Helps to cleanse the body and promote a clear skin complexion.

This juice is packed crazy full of so many body beneficial goodies and it tastes delicious! Try juicing 1-2 days a week for breakfast or lunch for a month and see the changes in your body and skin. Enjoy!

I know, my hands are crazy pale. The joys of winter. At least while I’m looking all Twilight on the outside, my insides will be healthy and refreshed!

 

2 medium cooked beets

1 half purple cabbage

2 carrots

1 small green apple

2 tbsp lime juice

2 inches ginger root

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Press through a strainer into a large bowl and pour into a glass or fun mason jar with a lid and straw. Enjoy your healthy life!
