The Snake Bite is a really easy drink to make; made with equal parts Guinness and Hard Cider. I first learned about it at an Irish pub in DC and was fascinated by the way the two liquids stay separate. My mom and I love making these fun beertails but my dad is less than thrilled when we “water down” his Guinness’.
The combination is so good and with only two ingredients it’s one of the easiest drinks you can make. A party trick and beertail all in one, which is fun for groups and St. Patrick’s Day. Forewarning, these go down REAL smooth. And between 1 hard cider and 1 beer it doesn’t sound like much but remember it’s two drinks in 1 large glass so sip slow and keep count.
